Imagine a learning environment where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to learn. In today’s dynamic educational landscape, understanding and addressing trauma is pivotal to fostering an equitable and supportive space for all learners. By building on an understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), this presentation will introduce participations to complex trauma and the impacts on learning. Participants will go beyond theory by diving into practical strategies for implementing trauma-informed practices in the classroom. Educator wellbeing will be explored as strategy to create a trauma-informed learning environment.
