September is National Suicide Prevention Month. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention states that death by suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) reports that death by suicide is often the result of an untreated mental health condition. Join our trainer Debra Brownlee, as she examines the nature of stigma, how to talk about it in your community, and strategies for addressing and overcoming it when seeking mental health support and treatment.
