The purpose of the webinar is to take a closer look at the ways in which peers are contributing to what the traditional mental health system considers “crisis” supports and ways to implement this approach into crisis services offered by traditional mental health programs. The presenters will offer examples of peer-enhanced services within mental health organizations and how these services complement and improve the outcomes of service systems. They will also provide resources to help webinar participants access additional information about peer services and the role of peer support professionals and identify ideas about how peer services can be incorporated into existing systems.
