Adolescent substance use is a major public health problem that concerns parents, schools, clinicians, and policymakers. Hispanic/Latinx youth and other youth of color with substance use problems are at particular risk for disparate health outcomes and disrupted education.  
 
At the end of this webinar the participant will be able to: 
 
1. Identify school-based prevention programs that are evidence-based, are culturally responsive and trauma-informed 
2. Consider the impact of school drug policies and practices on student outcomes, particularly for racial-ethnic minoritized students  
3. List clinical signs and symptoms of substance impairment  
4. Describe and implement best practices for referral and engaging adolescents who are using substances in treatment interventions 
5. Describe and implement evidence-based clinical approaches for addressing adolescent substance use
