This webinar reviewed current trends in children’s mental health (particularly with rural and low-income populations and students of color) and explored why youth suicide and mental illness are on the rise. They also discussed cultural, racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic factors and how they impact prevention and treatment options, with recommendations for how to improve equity. They also explored restorative justice and case studies of effective solutions.
